ABOUT
Full Professor of Philosophy of Law and Technology at UFMG Law School. Visiting Professor at the Leibniz Institut für Medienforschung- Universität Hamburg, Germany. Ph.D. and Master in Law from UFMG, with a post-doctorate in Philosophy from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Germany. Coordinator of the Paideia Legal Studies Center: education in fundamental rights. Founder and Director of the PHILOTECH Chair: Philosophy of Technology applied to Law (UFMG)/Jean Monnet Center of Excellence (UE). Director of Human Rights at the Institute of Law and Artificial Intelligence (IDEIA) of Minas Gerais. Honorary Member of the Ibero-American Union of Judges (UIJ). She was President of the Artificial Intelligence in Law Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association – Minas Gerais Section. She was Deputy Secretary of State for Civil Affairs and Institutional Relations of Minas Gerais, when she chaired the Commission for the Regulatory Decree on Science, Technology and Innovation in Minas Gerais (Decree 47,442, of July 4, 2018). She coordinated the International Relations Center of the Government of Minas Gerais. Researcher in Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Technology applied to Law, Ethics and Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Hermeneutics and Digital Law.
