ABOUT
Aziz Tuffi Saliba holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He completed a Master’s degree in International Trade Law at the University of Arizona, funded by a FULBRIGHT Commission scholarship. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Notre Dame (USA), the University of Cambridge (UK), and the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg (Germany). In 2009, he was awarded the Arthur C. Helton Fellowship by the American Society of International Law (ASIL). He conducted postdoctoral research at Université Laval in Québec, Canada. He achieved first place in competitive examinations for professorships at UFMG (2009), UFLA (2009), UFMS (2005), and UFT (2003). He served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law at UFMG (2014–2018). Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Public Law at UFMG, Dean for International Relations at UFMG, and President of the Brazilian Branch of the International Law Association.
