ABOUT

Holds a Ph.D. in Law from PUC Minas, with doctoral research at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. Finalist for the CAPES Dissertation Award – 2015 edition with the work “State, market, and institutions: studies on embedding and (re)building the constitutional economic order in light of Karl Polanyi’s Plural Economy.” Professor of Economic, Environmental, and Mining Law at the UFMG School of Law. Coordinator of EcoJusLab – Laboratory of Mining, Energy, and Natural Resources Law. An associate researcher at the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence. His academic interests focus on the intersection of Law, Sustainable Development, and Institutional Political Economy, emphasizing research on the Green Deal, energy transition, and institutional arrangements for a post-carbon economy.
