ABOUT

Marcelo Andrade Féres is an Associate Professor of Business Law at UFMG Law School. In addition to teaching undergraduate courses, he has been a member of the permanent faculty of the Postgraduate in Law Program (CAPES 7) since 2010, where he is linked to two areas of study: a) Business in the Market; and b) Public Administration and Strategic Development. He has written several articles, book chapters and books, especially in the areas of Business Law (Corporate and Insolvency), Civil Procedure and Anti-corruption Legislation. He has been a researcher at the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence, UFMG/European Union since 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Law from UFMG (2008) and a master’s degree in Commercial Law from the same institution (2004). He is also a Federal Prosecutor, assigned to the Regional Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the 6th Region (an agency of the Attorney General’s Office) and an occasional collaborator of the National Arbitration Team – ENARB of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.
