Master’s and Doctorate in Law from UFMG and Specialization in Public Law from FDMM (1989). He is currently an adjunct professor at UFMG, in the undergraduate courses in Law and State Sciences and in the Postgraduate Course in Law (Master’s and Doctorate). Head judge of the 45th Labor Court of BH – TRT 3rd Region. Creator and co-founder of the first Inter-Union Labor Conciliation Center (Ninter) in Brazil, which in 2009 received the Public Management and Citizenship Award (FGV/Ford Foundation). She conceived, proposed and coordinated the implementation of the Integrated System of Participation of the First Instance in Judicial Management and Administration of Justice of the Regional Labour Court of the Third Region: Singespa-TRT3, an experience selected and awarded in the Inter-American Competition of Innovative and Concrete Experiences in Judicial Management, organized by The Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ) Brazil. She is responsible for designing, implementing and coordinating the University Program to Support Labor Relations and the Administration of Justice at the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Prunart-UFMG).
