Orienta teses de doutorado e dissertações de mestrado

SOBRE

Mestre e Doutor em Direito pela UFMG, tendo realizado parte de suas pesquisas doutorais no Institut de la Pensée Contemporaine da Université Paris VII (França). Foi pesquisador visitante da Fondation Maison de Sciences de L’Homme (França) em 2013 e da Faculdade de Direito da University of Kent (Reino Unido) em 2015 e 2017. Fez estágio pós-doutoral na condição de professor visitante no Gender, Sexuality and Femininist Studies Department da Duke University (EUA) nos anos de 2019 e 2020.

É membro dos projetos coletivos “Gênero, Sexualidade e Direito” e “Filosofia do Poder e Pensamento Radical” do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da UFMG, do projeto internacional “Revaluing Care in the Global Economy”, desenvolvido na Duke University e do projeto internacional “Who cares? Rebuilding care in a post-pandemic world”, financiado pela Trans-Atlantic Platform for Social Sciences and Humanities e várias outras instituições nacionais e internacionais.

Conduz e orienta pesquisas sobre Direitos LGBTI+ e Direitos de Mulheres, a partir de perspectivas teóricas queer e feministas. Atualmente, desenvolve pesquisa sobre a regulação jurídica do sexo e da sexualidade.

ABOUT

Holds a Master’s and a Doctorate in Law from UFMG, having conducted part of his doctoral research at the Institut de la Pensée Contemporaine of the Université Paris VII (France). Was a visiting researcher at the Fondation Maison de Sciences de L’Homme (France) in 2013 and at the Faculty of Law of the University of Kent (United Kingdom) in 2015 and 2017. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship as a visiting professor in the Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies Department at Duke University (USA) in 2019 and 2020.

Is a member of the collective projects “Gender, Sexuality and Law” and “Philosophy of Power and Radical Thought” of the Graduate Program in Law at UFMG, the international project “Revaluing Care in the Global Economy,” developed at Duke University, and the international project “Who cares? Rebuilding care in a post-pandemic world,” funded by the Trans-Atlantic Platform for Social Sciences and Humanities and several other national and international institutions.

Conducts and supervises research on LGBTI+ Rights and Women’s Rights, from queer and feminist theoretical perspectives. Currently developing research on the legal regulation of sex and sexuality.
